Evolution is Asia's largest yoga conference that unites an extensive mix of yoga traditions and cultures from the east and west. More than 160 courses will be on offer as well as an array of world-class special events that are expected to attract over 2,000 attendees from across the world.

About Being A Volunteer Staff Member
As a volunteer staff, you will be required to pay a minimal registration fee of HKD 1000. Upon satisfactory completion of assigned duties and your scheduled working times, you will be refunded 50% of this paid fee after the conference. To verify the committment from your part, this registration fee is non-refundable should you cancel or withdraw.
Volunteers do not register for classes but can attend classes on a space-available basis when not on duty. We also cannot guarantee that you will be able to participate in a specific session, nor can we guarantee a specifically requested role, schedule or task within this program.
Each volunteer will be scheduled to work anywhere from 6-8 shifts (each lasting from 4-6 hours each with breaks in between). Some shift times may start as early as 4:30am and end 11:00pm on special event nights. Volunteers must also attend the information training sessions prior to the start of the conference. More details on this will be emailed to successful applicants in the Volunteer Information packs each will receive.
Please note:
Asia Yoga Conference does not provide or help to arrange any type of housing, travel or meals at the conference. All accommodation, travel and meal arrangements are the responsibility of each individual participant of this program. Is this right for you?
Volunteers do not register for conference classes. If it is very important for you to attend specific sessions, or if you cannot make the necessary time commitment involved in our program, volunteering may not be the best option for you and from this we encourage you to register and attend as a regular paid participant. We do prefer that volunteers to have a free full day schedule for the days of 3-6 July, 2008.
About Your Commitment:
Applying to be a volunteer means that you are willing to commit to a full involvement "behind the scenes" with our conference production team. Although this will mean scheduling your personal time around your work time, we believe this commitment greatly enhances the overall spirit and camaraderie of our mutual efforts. Whether you are helping with the set-up, packing goody bags, answering questions at the enquiry desk, providing directions, monitoring class rooms, assisting with audio/visual equipment, or assisting faculty members-all of which can be hectic at times-we think you will find that your efforts are almost always rewarding and a whole lot of fun.
Travel, Meals and Accommodation
Asia Yoga Conference cannot provide or help to arrange any type of housing or travel for conference participants. All accommodation and travel are the responsibility of each individual attendee. Refreshments and water will be available for volunteers, and one meal will be provided per day that you are scheduled to work.

2. You will receive a confirmation email in your email that your application is successfully received.
3. Please allow 3-6 working days for approval of your application.
4. Once your application is approved, we will send you an information package and payment form.
