Twee teaches globally as a recognised teacher and trainer of Prana Flow - an empowering, transformational, and evolutionary-edge style of vinyasa flow yoga. Her calendar of international yoga adventure and activism retreats, teacher trainings, and open level master classes evolved from her original studies of Hatha, Tantra and Ayurveda, and her ongoing studies with her teacher, Shiva Rea. Twee's unique teaching style inspires students to explore the infinite intelligence of Prana (life energy) "with in and with out." She encourages students to listen with deep reverence to the inner teacher, to respond from that core of truth, to blissfully harmonise their movements to reflect the 840,000+ species of life that exist in the world, as to stay ecstatically wide awake to the Flow that is the magic of their lives.
Twee donates her time and a portion of her proceeds of all her yoga events to local and global charities as a contribution to improving the lives of those less fortunate, and reducing the impact on the world's natural resources. Charities have included Kenya Education Fund, Youth Focus, Parkinson WA, Surfrider Foundation Australia, War Child, and YouthAids. Retreats often include visits to local orphanages offering laughter-filled kids yoga classes, community classes with 100% of proceeds donated to local charity organisations, and beach clean-ups. She also inspires others with her passion for sustainable living by employing such initiatives as printing all training manuals + invitations on recycled paper with soy-based ink, requesting that students bring reusable vs. plastic water bottles, linen napkins vs. paper, bamboo vs. plastic utensils, wearing yoga clothing made from eco-friendly, fair trade manufacturers including Be Present and Manduka eKo Yoga Mats, and offering only vegetarian menus on all retreats.
Euphorically committed to Spiritual Globalization and her Soul Connections Yoga Tour since February 2008, Twee is living the yoga of her dreams manifested! After living in New York City for 12 years (+ one year in Australia), she is sharing her passion of yoga through her teachings; living as a global citizen traveling to a different country (almost) every two weeks, knowing her gratitude-filled heart as her home; and graciously embracing all the trillions of magical moments in her daily life that the Divine has given her. Join her on the Soul Connections Yoga Tour '09 | Ecstatic Awakenings! as she revisits Bali, New Zealand, Europe, Canada, China, Malaysia, Hawaii, Africa, Australia, and her New York City home base, with new tour destinations including Vietnam, Mexico, and Bulgaria.
