The Art of Kumbhaka | Alex Medin | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : All proper practice of Prāṇāyāma involves the gradual restraint of the breath. This should never be forced, but done gradually and slowly. There are no short-cuts in learning to restrain the breath, yet this session will focus on guiding principles of retention and how to create stability in your core rather than being caught up in the periphery. As the mind becomes more internally focused, yoga becomes clearer and the fluctuations of the mind lose their grip. |

Body of Peace: The Dharma Gate of Ease and Joy | Frank Jude Boccio | CET |
| Class Description : The Indian sage, Patanjali, defined asana as a posture that is "stable and easeful." Zen Master Dogen taught that sitting meditation is the "dharma door of ease and joy." Anyone who explores the stillness of meditation must enter deeply into the experience of the body. Yet, how do we experience such a deep peace, when our bodies are so often filled with tension, pain, or even self-deprecation? This programme of Mindfulness Yoga presented by Poep Sa Frank Jude Boccio will offer the opportunity to explore and cultivate the three principles of alignment, relaxation, and resiliency necessary for seated meditation, the practice of yoga-asana, and for living a balanced life of freedom, ease and joy! Applying the Buddha's teachings of Mindfulness to the postures and movements of hatha-yoga, these three principles support the seat of meditation, creating the stability and ease that Patanjali defined as asana which allows for the deep and intimate integration of body, mind and spirit. By practising asanas designed to open stiff hips, strengthen sore backs, and relax tense shoulders and necks, we cultivate insight into our conditioned patterns and learn to 'let go.' In this way, we enter into the stillness at the heart of movement, and experience the energy that moves in the stillness of meditation. |

Yin and Yang Yoga Intensive | Simon Low | Half Day Intensive |
| Class Description : A complete, balanced & effective led-practice workshop where both Yin (focusing on lunar, feminine, passive, deep, restorative, meditative practices) & Yang (focusing on solar, masculine, strengthening, fluid dynamic movement) are honoured equally. Within the 'dance' of these complementary opposites we discover a more complete 'holistic' yoga practice. In the Yang practice, circles, spirals & energy awareness will be infused alongside the attention to alignment & fluid vinyasa, while in the Yin practices, the calming restorative meditative asanas will be balanced by the deep Taoist Yoga inspired work into the primary joints of the torso, connective tissue of ligaments & tendons, myofascial trains & energy meridiens. Within the breath & our mental attention we need to cultivate this "balance" in equal proportion as we cultivate "movement within stillness", & "stillness within movement". This workshop is open to & will benefit students of all styles of yoga, & of all levels of experience. |

The Universal Principles of Asana and Vinyasa | Paul Dallaghan | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : There are many asanas and a multitude of classes mixing them, praising them and explaining them. When you distill asana down, you find a key set of principles that lay at the base of all. To connect with these is to connect with the asana, is to do the asana, is yoga itself, albeit at the foundational stage. Vinyasa offers the building blocks to asana, respecting the integrity of breath and posture. The key to this system is the skillful management of the breath, which can deepen the experience and cultivate mindfulness. However it is often used to just jump around to. In this class the aim is to learn the principles through the practice of some key asanas with vinyasas. |

| Class Description : Kundalini is the power to shift perspective, fate, chakras, and consciousness. All cells have the same DNA, however some become neurons while others become different type of cells. Like genes, we can express or not express our spiritual and emotional DNA. The ability to be in shuniya allows us to apply awareness to shift our relationships and our experiences to those relationships. We will explore how to locate the Self - Allow all, embrace all, and sense all without entanglement or judgement. Let each moment of whatever is happening be a snapshot of Existence as it is. When we loosen the hold of our habitual pattern and perspective, we also open ourselves to sense the essence of life or in other words, locate the Self. |

The Tao of Yoga: Establishing a Strong Foundation | Victor Chng | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : There is no yin without yang. TAO is the understanding of the inter-play between yin and yang energies. Yin is the organic energy that spirals from below. Everything grows from the earth and moves towards the heaven. Yin is the ground that provides support and Yang is the heaven that gives without discrimination. Using yin as the foundation of this practice, you will first create length along the spine and work with less effort in the hips and legs. We will begin with yin yoga and rise up into a dynamic flow to provide strength and flexibility to the spine. This approach also allows for less stress in the lower back and it encourages healthy habits in engaging the legs at all times. It is a complete system that will enable anyone to develop a strong foundation of the hips and lower back, and move towards inversion over time. In this series, you will find your body becoming more expansive and you will experience greater 'Chi' flow in the body. The series will end with a short pranayama and guided meditation. |

Art of Sequencing Asanas and Vinyasa Krama | David Life, Sharon Gannon | CET |
| Class Description : Krama means "the uninterrupted sequence of events from beginning to end." Vinyasa is composed of two words: vi=order + nyasa=placement. You could say that the words vinyasa krama mean "the ordered placement of the sequence of events." Each krama, or sequence of events, is made up of kshana, or the smallest, dimensionless instant of time. In vinyasa krama, the intention and the unification of undisturbed breath and movement will yield the desired outcome in the next moment. Surya Namaskar provides the foundation of this workshop - a great opportunity to be grateful for the sun with each lift of the arms, and grateful to the earth with each descent. It is a prayer to the sun, the giver and sustainer of life. It connects breath and movement, and helps the mind to remain in the present and focused. Because it is a vinyasa practice, it will develop equanimity of mind and preferences (raga and dvesha) disappear! |

Dṛiṣti: How the Focus of our Eyes Affect our Clarity of Mind | Alex Medin | Half Day Intensive |
| Class Description : This workshop will focus on how we move our eyes while we are doing the āsanas. When yoga is done properly it sharpens our mind and electrifies our brain. What makes yoga postures different from normal physical exercise is that āsanas should provide a greater integration to the breath and greater sharpening of the mind. A deeper integration of the breath is the first tool to awaken a connection (yoga) with something greater than all our fleeting sensations in our mind. How we physically observe these fluctuations is the next step to sharpening our inner vision. The way we move our eyes and more fully awaken the nerve patterns connected with the eyes are helpful tools in sharpening this inner vision. As you learn to expand your vision and maximise your gaze while doing the yoga postures, you will feel alertness in your brain and a new sensation in your forehead - all conducive to greater clarity of mind and greater receptivity of yoga. |

An Introduction to Tantra: Tantra-vāṭa-dhānikā | Carlos Pomeda | Lecture |
| Class Description : What better way to learn about Tantra than to receive it from the ancient masters? For that reason, this Introduction to Tantric Yoga is based on a little-known work by the great 11th-century Tantric master, Abhinavagupta. Translated into English for the first time, his "Seed of the Tree of Tantra" (Tantravatadhanika) gives us the perfect platform on which to learn about Tantra and its practices in an authoritative, yet inspiring and practical way. What is most unique about Tantra and tantric yoga philosophy? Quite simply, the fact that its teachings and practices are best suited for contemporary life. Departing from earlier notions of asceticism and dry scholarship, Tantra presents a sublimely inspiring view of the world and of human existence, one that incorporates all aspects of human existence: the heart, the intellect, the body and the environment. In this seminar we will explore Tantra and what is perhaps its most refined formulation, Kashmir Shaivism, from a perspective that is both inspirational and entirely applicable to our daily lives. We will dispel the most common misunderstandings about what Tantra is and is not, investigating its roots and its development, and uncovering the answers it provides to the most fundamental questions of existence, as well as the practices it developed to expand human consciousness. Ultimately, we will discover the value of Tantric practice in that it reveals the divine right in the midst of the ordinary and charges our lives with meaning. |

The Change Happening on our Planet Today | Roshan | Lecture |
| Class Description : Our world is going through a time of unprecedented change that is affecting us both individually and globally. The change is happening in every sphere of our existence - socially, economically, environmentally, physically and spiritually. The impact of this change is both positive and negative. Why are these changes happening and what is their significance at a worldly material level (which is temporary and transient) and a soul level (which is permanent and divine)? If we have all come to this world with a purpose and to learn and to grow, where should our focus be right now and how can we rise above the change so that we can achieve our full potential and life's ultimate purpose? |

The 5 Aspects of Our Being: Panca Kośa & Panca Maya | Simon Low | Half Day Intensive |
| Class Description : The panca kośa teaching is most often shared as the 'onion theory', ie that our soul (atman) is wrapped by five layers - annamaya kośa (physical/food layer), pranamaya kośa (energy/breath layer), manomaya kośa (mind layer), vijnanamaya kośa (wisdom / intellect layer) and anandamaya kośa (divinity/bliss layer). At this study session, Simon will share his interpretation of this contemporary model and establish its deep relevance for us as a multi-dimensional individual. We will also explore the more accurately translated and lesser-known portrayal of the panca maya from the Taittiriya Upanisad (circa 700 BCE) from where the panca kośa interpretation is sourced. This description of the five aspects of our consciousness, represented by birds in flight, is one of yoga's most beautiful and interesting teachings and a special journey of discovery for a yoga teacher (or student) to enjoy and ultimately share. This model of the human system really comes into its own for yoga teachers when working with individuals and in yoga therapy situations. We need to assess where a student's problems come from, i.e. whether they are physical, psychological or emotional, so that we can choose suitable techniques to help them towards health and wellbeing. As we deepen our understanding of, and connection to, our own true nature, insight into the panca kośa and panca maya provides a simple, clear and effective methodology that enriches our yoga practice both on and off the mat. |

Be the Change | Heeki Park, Will Lau | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : Traditionally the yogi has been that member of society who devoted him or herself to the pursuit of enlightenment through finding means to live harmoniously with the earth and all Her creatures. Yogis are radical, meaning they go to the root. Kindness to all beings is the root of enlightenment. War never brings peace, it only brings more war. Kindness leads to peace through spiritual activism. If we truly want world peace, we must begin by embodying that peace ourselves. Speak out for peace, live peacefully and think well of others. Do what you can to uplift the lives of others. Give up the love of power for the power of love. Peace will come when we have given up hateful thoughts, cruel words and violent actions in our daily lives. The most profound act that a yogi can do these days is to have the courage to care about the suffering of others. Don't wait for a better world. Start now to create a world of harmony and peace. "Be the Change!" It is up to you. It always has been. Come for a powerful vinyasa class with Will and Heeki, learn the facts about the atrocities against mother nature, chant "Om Shanti" and meditate for world peace. |

The Deeper Aspects of Vinyāsa: Reset, Renew and Rejuvenate | Alex Medin | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : Vinyāsa is the link between breath and movement. The practice of Ashtanga yoga (according to Sŕī K. Pattabhi Jois) can be quite challenging and physically demanding. The vinyāsa movement that interlinks the postures with the breath may be a supporting tool that creates lightness in the limbs, internalisation of the breath and sustains equal flow of energy throughout the body. When done incorrectly with too much focus on the muscular body, it may build further tension and rigidity from within on all levels. This class will focus on the basics of the sun-salutations and integrate this further into a full 'jump-through' with straight legs. Once the internal lift has been cultivated properly the practitioner will find it easier to leverage oneself in and out of the postures, which will provide tremendous support for all continued āsana practice. Ultimately the purpose of all āsana practice is to make us more steady, calm and centered. However, this is indeed very difficult unless the physical body becomes more harmonised and there is an equal flow of energy in our spine. For this very reason we practise Vinyāsa - to create lightness of being and greater health within the body. |

They can help in every aspect of your life - stress relief, calming the mind, decreasing negativity, increasing energy and physical well-being and awakening the spiritual heart. In this introductory workshop, you will learn about the amazing techniques of Atma Kriya, how they work, the qualities you will develop and acquire and the speed of change that is possible, rapidly taking you from the limited to the unlimited - your full potential! We will also discuss why these yoga techniques are so relevant for the world we are living in today. |

| Class Description : This session will focus on the practices of Mūla Bandha, Uddīyana bandha and Jālāndhara bandha. The three principal locks help to restrain the breath and guide the movement of prāna in its internal pathway rather than dissipating it in the periphery. Igniting the Flame: Unlocking our Intuitive Potential | Patrick Oancia | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : It is often expressed in wisdom-tradition philosophy that we embody everything we need to manifest our potential. Yoga can be utilised as a tool to "ignite" this inherent knowledge. This session will look at the transition from the gross physical to subtle energetic potential in practice. Various modern yoga systems suggest that asana (posture work) should combine internal neuro-muscular locks with strong and heating rhythmic breathing. Although beneficial in ways, this combination can sometimes over-stimulate the nervous system, contraindicative to balancing physical, mental and environmental changing circumstances in life. As the seasons change, our practice should also change to fit our lifestyle at any given time. Patrick will introduce easy-to-understand pranayama applications to economise and generate energy, and promote increased mental concentration so as to tone the human physiology and raise the sensitivity in practice. Posture work will focus on economising the use of the more subtle dynamics of bandha (internal energy locks) to super-charge the potential in practice. |

The Power of Mantra and Words: Siva Sutras Meditation Series 3 | Carlos Pomeda | Lecture |
| Class Description : Interested in taking your yoga practice to a deeper level? Want to learn more about Tantric meditative practices? The purpose of this workshop is to explore a set of very profound practices that probe beyond the surface of reality to uncover the awareness of the divine in every aspect of life. Drawing from The Shiva Sutras, a foundational text of the Tantric Shaivism of Kashmir, we will uncover a deeper way of looking at life, one that uncovers profound joy and a sense of wonder. Once the foundations are mastered, one of the most powerful — and multifaceted — dimensions of practice has to do with mantra and the ways in which language shapes our experience. This session will explore how to harness the power of sound in the practice of yoga and in every area of life. The Shiva Sutras program consists of 4 sessions, which can be taken separately or as a package. Each session is independent but also builds on the previous one. |

Yin Yoga Meridian Series – Improving Digestion & Metabolism | Victor Chng | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : In traditional Chinese medicine, the earth element enables everything to grow and blossom. The stomach and spleen belong to the earth element and are responsible for digestion and metabolism. The stomach meridian line is found along the face and our facial colour depends on the "chi" in this meridian. That is why we also call this meridian the "beauty-line". The spleen converts the food we eat into blood and "chi". It is then distributed to all other organs. When the middle-burner is stagnant, it will cause poor digestion and absorption of food, which creates dampness to the body. The body will retain more water and develop more phlegm and mucus inside the body. This workshop is ideal for anyone who wants to improve his or her digestion, improve his or her complexion, and enhance or maintain his or her body proportion in a natural way. We will use the understanding of meridians to develop our yin practice, and you will be given an expansive view on proper diet, eating habits, meridian points and other tips for improving digestion. Come and join us to regulate the chi flow in your body. |

Iron Shirt Qi Gong: The Art of Tapping into Earth Energy to Develop Unusual Power | Daniel Li Ox | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : Originating from the Martial Qi Gong, this external form of practice is also kept amongst the self-healing techniques because of the huge amount of energy the postures and movements direct throughout the body. Also called "Qi Jin Gong" (hard Qi Gong), the Iron Shirt practice makes use of contractions combined with a special type of breath called "Packing Breathing". This method helps to access deeply hidden energy stagnations, and to bring oxygen and Qi (Prana) in the deepest layers of the body. There are 3 levels of Iron Shirt - one addresses the muscles, one the tendons, and one the bones. |

Becoming a Better Person Through Yin Yoga | Frances Gairns | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : You've mastered handstand, splits and wheel, but still lose your temper at your kids and get stressed when someone changes the plan. How does practicing yoga asana help us become better people? It doesn't, unless we practice turning our focus inwards to our thoughts and emotions. Many dedicated yoga practitioners know meditation is the next step, but aren't ready to embrace the stillness it brings. Yin yoga offers a bridge between asana and meditation. Through this quiet yin practice, we'll have the opportunity to observe our thoughts and reactions. And, perhaps, work on making space to change for the better. |

Pranayama Intensive Two: From Practice to Sharing it | Paul Dallaghan | Half Day Intensive |
| Class Description : To really practise Pranayama does require a more committed and mature attitude. It is not about doing more but learning how to go deeper and connect more fully. Kapalabhati is the keystone to this practice and it directly affects the capacity of breath. From there it is the ability to manage the pressure from the breath. More learning is needed than these two sessions. Paul will offer key advice on what to continue with practice and what is appropriate to share with different levels of students. Really, it is time to expand your practice beyond the realm of asana and grow to a new level. But it takes committed, regular practice. This is a time to start it. This intensive will also include some lecture, and time for questions and answers. |

Blissful Balance: Unifying Asana, Pranayama, Mudra and Bandha | Samrat Dasgupta | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : Explore the amalgamation of basic asana, pranayama, mudra and bandha practices that are key to harmonizing the balance between your physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Prana, vital energy which corresponds to ki or chi in Chinese medicine, pervades the whole body, following flow patterns, called nadis, which are responsible for maintaining all individual cellular activity. Stiffness of the body is due to blocked prana and a subsequent accumulation of toxins. When prana begins to flow, the toxins are removed from the system, ensuring the health of the whole body . As the body becomes supple, postures which seemed impossible becomes easy to perform and steadiness and grace of movement develops. When the quantum of prana is increased to a great degree, the body moves into certain postures by itself and asanas, mudras and pranayamas occur spontaneously. This workshop is an integrated asana and pranayama session to tune into the flow of your prana, shedding light on mudras and bandhas and why and how they complement the asana practice to create pranic upliftment and hence preserving universal consciousness. |

®Shiva Nata: ®Dance of Shiva | Andrey Lappa | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : Theory (1 hour): This is a dynamic form of ancient yogic moving meditation used to dispel conditioned patterning of the mind and to improve conscious control over the physical, mental and energetic processes of the body. There are synchronised, spiralling movements used in both arms and legs that can be traced back to yogic practices. These yogic movements became the foundation for many Eastern training systems such as Classic Indian Dancing, and Indian/Chinese Martial Arts, for the development of coordination and reaction speed. This is a deeply yogic system that will enhance new neurologic connections in the brain and liberate the practitioner from negative patterns. Practice (1 hour): You will learn the basic movements of the first level of Shiva Nata in a step-by-step fashion by Andrey himself. |

These practices seek to find the divine in every situation and to integrate the highest experience of meditation with the rest of our lives. The Shiva Sutras program consists of 4 sessions, which can be taken separately or as a package. Each session is independent but also builds on the previous one. |

Guided by Breath | Colleen Saidman, Rodney Yee | 2hr Session |
| Class Description : We will work with letting the breath guide us through our asana and meditation. By observing the way the breath is moving in the body, we can appropriately change our alignment to allow the breath to flow more freely. This in turn will quiet the mind, which will allow you to see even finer aspects of the breath. This will require our mind to concentrate on the more subtle aspects of who we are. We will do a balanced asana practice appropriate for all levels and end class with sitting meditation. |
