What should I pack to the conference?
Hong Kong can be extremely hot and humid in the summer months, so we recommend that
you pack lots of comfortable clothing. For detailed weather information, you can check
the Hong
Kong Observatory website.
Do I need to bring my own mat?
You will need to bring a yoga mat with you to the conference. Please also bring
additional props such as straps, blocks, blankets or anything else you foresee as
a necessity for your practice. Otherwise, props will be available for purchase on-site.
Do I need to sign-in once I get to the conference?
Please bring a copy of your registration confirmation with you to the conference. This
confirmation will be emailed or sent to you, depending on whether you registered on-line
or via mail. A badge will be given to you when you register your attendance at the
conference site. You will need to present your badge for entry into each session. Please
note that there is a HK$500 replacement fee for lost badges. So please keep your badge with
you at all times.
Can I change classes once the conference starts?
Changes may only be made onsite at the conference. At this time, you can change as many
classes as you want, depending on the availability of the class. However we do not encourage
frequent class changes as we highly suggest that you register for your desired schedule. Please
note that there is a HK$200 fee for each class change made after registration.
Will the Faculty sell any products at the conference?
There will be a range of books and DVDs on sale at the conference both from the faculty
and other ranges of yoga and yoga-related products. There is also a chance to bid for signed
yoga items at our auction. For more information, see Special Events.
Is there anywhere for me to rest or eat at the conference?
There will be various areas for students to rest, relax and lounge in between classes. In
addition to the many lounge areas that we will have, we will also offer an open meditation
room for students. The two lecture halls will also have lectures and events held in them throughout
the entire day. These events are complimentary to all conference registrants. There will also be an
area selling lunch packs (vegetarian, vegan and non-vegetarian) during the lunch time. |
