Chris, Su Kok Leong is from Malaysia. He comes from a musical background with a ABRSM Grade Eight in piano and Diploma an Italian Bel-Canto Vocal Certification. He started his on-stage career when he was just 6 years old and he won over 200 international singing competitions during his younger days.
When he completed his studies at Limkokwing International University, he decided to become a singing artist in Malaysia. He jointly produced albums, classical musical as well as participated in overseas performances. At 25, he decided to change his lifestyle and went to India in search of the meaning of life. Eventually he becomes a yoga practitioner. Yoga to him is not just for the physical body, but it is also to understand the innerself.
Chris Su, is a pioneer Mindfulness Yin Yoga Trainer in Malaysia. He has represented Malaysia to share yin yoga at the international stage. He holds an E-RYT 500 Yoga Alliance Certified Advance Trainer qualification, undergoes Yin Yoga Training with Josh Summers and Sarah Powers, and he is also a licensed Reiki and Sound-Healing therapist. He is a keen student of Buddhist Studies as well.
Chris Su, is the co-founder of the Mindfulness Yin Yoga Immersion, and he has been travelling around in various countries conducting workshops, Train-the-Trainer programs and yoga retreats. His is a co-author a book named ‘Living Yoga with Mindfulness’ and his new book will be published in Jan 01, 2019.
As his interest in Vipassana or Insight Meditation develops, so too is his interest in a more contemplative form of yoga practice. With a knowledge of Chinese Medicine and a personal passion for the Dharma, Chris Su fell in love with Yin Yoga as it is a beautiful fusion of these two interests.
